roof glazing options

With our superior roofing options your conservatory can become a room you use all year round, where you can enjoy gazing at the stars or enjoying the summer sunshine.

Celsius Glass

polycarbonate glazing

Our 25mm polycarbonate glazing remains stable at temperatures ranging from -20oC to 100oC. The units have a special coating which protects the material from discolouring and surface wear.

Our polycarbonate glazing come in clear, opal, bronze and bronze/opal to complement or contrast our conservatory colour schemes.

solar control polycarbonate glazing

Our solar control polycarbonate glazing helps to reduce heat build up in the summer and retain the warmth in the winter.

35mm polycarbonate glazing

Our 35mm polycarbonate is 40% thicker than ordinary polycarbonate glazing, providing exceptional levels of thermal insulation, reduced sound transmission and unwanted glare, combined with high performance and minimal maintenance.

low E energy efficient glass

Upgrade from polycarbonate glazing options to either our Low E energy efficient glass or Celsius performance glass. Not only is glass more aesthetically pleasing than polycarbonate glazing but it also provides better acoustic insulation, particularly during rain and bad weather. Low E energy efficient glass – which comes in 24mm toughened double glazed units – has a protective coating which will keep you warmer in the winter months and cooler in the summer.

celsius performance glass

For optimum energy efficiency choose Celsius performance glass its unique properties not only out performs others on energy efficiency but it also features an easy clean coating which reduces the need for cleaning. Celsius has a unique coating which enables it to help keep conservatories cooler in summer (by reflecting excessive solar heat away) as well as warmer in winter (by deflecting heat from inside the home back into the property). It also offers dramatically increased sound insulation compared to polycarbonate glazing. Celsius blue has a subtle blue tint which helps to reduce glare and reduces the need for ceiling blinds.

The figures shown above are for guide purposes only. Slight variations may occur due to glass specification, time of year, manufacturing tolerance, point of manufacture and type of instrumentation used.

Visible Light Transmittance
This is the percentage of visible light directly transmitted through the glass.

Solar Factor
This is the percentage of total solar energy (or heat from the sun) able to pass through the glass.

U-Value
This is used to measure internal heat loss during cooler periods. The lower the number, the greater the insulation.

UV Transmission
Sun damaging UV rays are dramatically reduced, allowing greater protection of your furniture and fabrics.
